The seller of the estate had different thoughts and ideas when drawing this exact beach house, which is inspired by Olafur Eliasson’s exhibition “Your Rainbow” at ARoS museum of contemporary art in Århus, Denmark. The exhibition is about how you experience the beautiful meanings and color combinations of the rays of the sun, which come to light when the light shines through the Earth’s atmosphere.
The design of the beach house is designed to make you feel the warmth and see the red and yellow colors of the sun when standing in one of the bedrooms and the kitchen as the sun shines directly on the colored windows. At noon, when the sun is at its highest, the lightning effect decreases in the beach house. When sitting in the living room and the second bedroom of the beach house at sunset, you will then experience the colored windows in a whole new lightning of the sun. The windows of the beach house projects the colors of the sun as blue-green shades, until the sun is dark red in the sky.
