Valencia has been a longtime fascination for architecture and travel photographer Kevin Krautgartner. Loaded with great architecture from architects like David Chipperfield and Norman Foster, the most captivating of them all is the City of Arts and Sciences complex by Santiago Calatrava. In his latest architectural photo series, Krautgartner documents his travels there and captures this beautiful project in a whole new light. His particular use of light and shadow against the colourful backdrop of the sky allows for the smaller details to really pop on the screen. Splashes of sunlight and nature appear, and well-known perspectives are given new close-ups.
