The following description is courtesy of the architects. An existing low building villa is extended with a rectangular two storey volume.
Outer walls completely in glass alternate with closed walls in such a way that views to all wind directions are guaranteed. The use of mirrors makes the building blend in completely with its natural surroundings.
Warm materials that have a feel of their own, such as afrormosia veneer, tropical end-grain wood, copper and cork in a new edition, all refer to the house’s original style of the sixties.
