One of the most exciting new buildings of 2018, the new National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts in Taiwan is part building and part landscape. It’s designers, Dutch firm Mecanoo Architects, were inspired by the beauty of the local Banyan trees with their iconic canopies of leaves.
