I think that the maps aren't designed to be that user friendly. I thought they would be, but when I actually tried to use them they weren't. I am a graphic designer, and I can see that they were "designed' beautifully for the EYE, but not for actual use. The fact that there were no names of the buildings on the front made it very hard to use. Just these TINY numbers that I couldn't see without a bright light. Not user friendly at night or if it was overcast. In my hometown, Los Angeles, I at least now have a list of significant buildings. But in Prague and Istanbul, which I may never get to go back to, it wasn't helpful. Sorry.
