Created by the folks at FIELD RECORD, the FR shelter is an adaptable tent that can be adjusted to fit all types of environments and conditions. It consists of several geometric sheets that are connected to each other by 10 water-stop fasteners and velcro. [caption id="attachment_3416" align="alignnone" width="2126"] © FIELD RECORD[/caption] Different materials for the skin were tested to ensure the FR shelter found the right balance between durability and weight, and in the end, 30D ripstop nylon silicone with a PU coating was chosen due to its elasticity and excellent capability to repel water, avoid shrinkage and retain its shape. Easily collapsible, the FR Shelter can be taken virtually anywhere.
