The MUST-SEE Architecture in Mexico City

The MUST-SEE Architecture in Mexico City
Close-up of the Central Library (UNAM)

A trip through Mexico is like taking a journey through the architectural wonders of the last three centuries. From the ancient pyramids to the baroque buildings of Spanish Colonialism, for over 600 years Mexico City has been the life blood of Mexico. Often associated with its drug activity of the past decades, the city has shed its tumultuous past with an energized, young society that is flooding its restaurants and revitalized public spaces. The truth is Mexico City is experiencing a cultural renaissance and architecture is at the forefront of it all. In fact, some of its greatest works have been built within the last 10 years and they can be found in and around the capital. You just have to look.

Check out Mexico City’s amazing #mustseearchitecture below.
